Woodbury Monthly Meeting was established in 1784 by Salem Quarterly Meeting. The first business sessions were held in 1795. The Orthodox monthly meeting was transferred to Haddonfield and Salem Quarterly Meeting in 1904. In 1954, Upper Greenwich Preparative Meeting withdrew from Woodbury Monthly (Hicksite) to form Mickleton Monthly Meeting. Mount Holly Monthly Meeting was established in 1776 by Burlington Quarterly Meeting out of Burlington Monthly Meeting. In 1827, after the Hicksite Separation in Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, the Meeting split into Hicksite and Orthodox branches. The Orthodox Meeting was discontinued in 1828 ; its members were transferred to Burlington Monthly Meeting (Orthodox).
